On October 21, 2020, with less than two weeks until the 2020 General Election, David Rubenstein, President of The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. hosted a wide-ranging conversation with top political analysts who shared their insights on the upcoming presidential, congressional and gubernatorial races. Panel participants included: Mike Allen of Axios, Gloria Borger of CNN, Charlie Cook of The Cook Political Report, NBC News, and National Journal Groups, and Nikole Killion of CBS News. The panel discussed presidential and vice presidential debates, expected voter turnout, mail-in ballots and early voting, as well as the 2020 topic of the year, the effects of COVID-19. Analysts shared their opinions and predictions on the potential outcomes of the election in terms of popular and electoral totals, balance of power in the House, Senate and the political composition of governors.
