Once every two years, Europe and the USA compete on the global stage for the coveted Solheim Cup. The Solheim Cup is one of the world's most prestigious women's golf team events, demonstrating the competitive talents of both teams. Mollie will discuss this years Solheim Cup that will take place September 10-15, 2024 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia. She will also talk about the LPGA's commitment to change the face of golf by making the sport more diverse, accessible, and inclusive, Title IX, and the future of women's sports.
Mollie Marcoux Samaan is the ninth Commissioner of the LPGA since its formation in 1950. Her journey to the LPGA started at Princeton University, where she was a two-sport varsity athlete in soccer and ice hockey before graduating cum laude in 1991. In 2014, Marcoux Samaan was recruited back to Princeton as the University's Ford Family Director of Athletics.
