The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. invites you to attend an upcoming Executive Conversation featuring Tamika Tremaglio, Executive Director of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Tamika will participate in a conversation-style interview with Barbara Humpton, Chair of the Economic Club’s Global Initiative and CEO of Siemens USA. Following their conversation, Tamika will answer questions from the group in the remaining time. Registration will begin at 11:30 AM, followed by the lunch and program at 12:00 PM ending promptly at 1:30 PM.

Economic Club of Washington member, Tamika Tremaglio became the Executive Director of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) in September 2021. She serves as the primary advocate for NBA players, ensuring their rights are protected and that they are fairly compensated for the value they bring to the court and as ambassadors of the game around the world. Tremaglio acts as the lead negotiator in all collective bargaining activities.

Prior to this, Tremaglio served as the Managing Principal for Deloitte’s Greater Washington practice, where she was managed 14,000 professionals across 23 offices. At Deloitte, Tremaglio was a key leader in the company’s sports industry arm, accumulating over 15 years of experience. She has served as a trusted advisor to many Fortune 1000 clients and was selected as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in 2019 by the Washingtonian Magazine. In 2020, Tremaglio received the Triple-Impact Executive Award from the Positive Coaching Alliance for her community leadership and commitment to youth development, college preparedness and STEM education in the Washington D.C. area.

She has served as a Director on the board of over 10 organizations, including: Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation (Treasurer), United Way of the National Capital Area (Corporate Secretary), Tuskegee University (Executive Committee Member) and the Council for Court Excellence (Chairman of the Board, focused on Criminal Reform and Inequities).
