Wednesday, April 8, 2020 The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. hosted its fifth virtual event. Club President David Rubenstein interviewed economic experts on the state of the economy and the financial forecast. In addition, they discussed the current U.S. and global economy, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the Federal Reserve’s response to the pandemic, and the way forward post COVID-19. Additionally, Dr. Kurt Newman provided a medical update on the evolving virus. The interview took place in three segments.
